For over 40 years, Can-Traffic and the City of Edmonton have worked hand in hand in the completion of many traffic systems. Most notable and recent of the these are the Aurora Project and the City of Edmonton Cabinet Upgrade Program. The Aurora Project is aimed at communicating highly pertinent traffic information directly to the driver/vehicle to aid in the potential reduction of incidents. Can-Traffic’s involvement in the installation of this progressive and forward thinking technology was a welcome addition to our current resume. The City of Edmonton cabinet upgrade initiative held Can-Traffic responsible to upgrade over 250 cabinets within the City limits. This included preemption devices used to increase the efficiency of emergency vehicles and overall vehicle safety. Our size and experience afford us the luxury of being able to accommodate projects of this magnitude, a sentiment for which we are truly grateful.
